When we say all-round, we really mean it; the Leeuwarden exhibition displays everything from electronics to engines and from tourism to class associations. Naturally there are many, many boats to be found at Boot Holland; motor and sailing yachts, from steel and polyester to wood and composite, of all types and sizes.
Steel-building has a prominent role to play at Boot Holland, with nearly all the most renowned Dutch steel ship builders (lengths from 9 to 17 metres) gathered in the same hall. They can be found near the motorboat moorings and surrounding area. Over 40 ships are presented at the show in this category each year.
Boot Holland is high on the list of attractions for enthusiasts of less common types of boats as well. A number of trend-setting sloops and punts will be exhibited in Leeuwarden, with a special stand for round and flat-bottomed ships.
Round and flat-bottomed pavilion
The round and flat-bottomed pavilion has been a staple of Boot Holland for years on end. As a true boating exhibition, the show feels closely connected with the history of both commercial and leisure sailing. In addition to the boats themselves, the pavilion also hosts other historical artefacts and classic ships. Many stands for suppliers active in this sector are located in the surrounding area as well.
Boot Holland provides the inspiration that watersporters are looking for at the start of the season, with boats, engines, accessories, services, associations and much, much more. The show is also very accessible to the public, thanks to its reasonable entrance pricing and ample parking space for just €4,- per day.
A successful season!
So everyone should visit Boot Holland for a cracking start to the season. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere, share thoughts with your fellow watersporters and gain all the inspiration you need for a successful watersports season. See you around at Boot Holland in Leeuwarden!
