Summer has finally arrived and that means only one thing: time to sail! The waters are crowded with enthusiastic sailors, motorboaters and sloops enjoying the beautiful weather. Have you been out on the water yet?
Meanwhile, preparations for Boot Holland 2025 are in full swing. This edition will take place from March 5 to 9, 2025, put this date in your agenda and make sure you don't miss the boat.

The most beautiful sailing routes in the Netherlands!
The Netherlands is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts thanks to its many beautiful sailing routes. Here are a few sailing routes that you should definitely not miss:
- The Frisian Lakes: A classic among sailing routes. Enjoy the vast water landscape, picturesque villages and the famous Elfstedentocht route.
- The Weerribben-Wieden and Giethoorn: The watery surroundings and beautiful nature make this the place for a beautiful boat trip. You can choose from various sailing routes. For example, sail towards Giethoorn and discover the cozy terraces on the water in the center.
- The Reitdiep: This is one of the oldest navigable canals in the Netherlands, with a picturesque route from Groningen city to the Lauwersmeer, past green meadows and historic villages.
- Vlieland – Texel: The Wadden Sea is a beautiful area to sail through, especially for sailboats. On this sailing route you can enjoy the salty sea air and the view of the Texel seaside resort De Koog.
